Yoursphere

Yoursphere is a COPPA-compliant social networking site for kids and teens, a youth-oriented site similar to Facebook and Myspace but with safety and identity verification features that set new standards for social networks. The site has been featured in national media and a case study was published on Drupal.org: http://drupal.org/node/339500.

• Worked as part of a distributed development team using SVN, Unfuddle, and a modified Scrum framework for software development management using Agile Methodologies.
• Developed and maintained a functionally-tested custom framework for revenue-sharing partnerships and distributed sales team management using and interacting with a complex existing registration and coupon system.
• Designed and maintained a self-testing database-driven financial and operational reporting system to keep company executives abreast of financial and operational developments.
• Acted as the “go-to-man” for any registration or billing difficulties with accounts, day-to-day difficulties with site operations, and other problems experienced by the company’s customer service department.
• Implemented functional and unit tests for three custom-coded modules using the Simpletest framework for Drupal.
